Team Yoga and Nutrition Clinic

Team Yoga and Nutrition Clinic

We bring our workshop to you!

It is fun and interactive, yet powerful and enlightening. We will demonstrate and do yoga with your players and coaches, practice stress management techniques and provide hands-on sports nutrition education specific to field hockey. Our goal is for them to walk away feeling inspired and empowered.

Here is how we teach mindfulness and nutrition:

Mindfulness

It is critical to mentally and physically prepare each student-athlete through mindfulness activities and yoga. With Lisa, a RYT200 and health teacher, our hope is to share tools that the student athletes can use in times of stress whether they are on or off the field. It is also important to teach these athletes consistent mindfulness practice so they are equipped to handle diversity and obstacles when they arise. Being proactive instead of reactive, will build their confidence and optimize their performance.

Field Hockey Nutrition

Sports nutrition is the other key component of our business. We want players to have a better understanding of how to nourish their minds and bodies through nutrition education with Joanne, RDN, FMNS, CLT. The importance of balancing one’s plate for competition; adequately hydrating; and building pregame snacks and meals will be covered.

We want to emphasize that food is fuel for your players to develop and grow physically and mentally. We also want to cultivate an environment where positive body image is encouraged.

COST: $200

TIME FRAME: Yoga and sports nutrition: 75 minute workshop
